Today, the 2020 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Premium is at our doors and announces performance and power. It will be equipped with an EcoBoost engine with a 2.3-liter high performance package that will allow it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds. This Mustang EcoBoost has been designed by the famous Mustang Team, which is banking on this new performance to beat the competition.
Thanks to its turbocharged engine from the Focus RS, this car now develops 330 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. What's more, the giant Ford Motor Company also took the liberty of widening the torque curve, which now goes from 2,500 rpm to 90 percent of its maximum, 40 percent more than the more conventional 2.3-liter Mustang engine. This is a welcome addition, as the power curve remains stronger as the engine approaches 6,500 rpm.
This engine can be mated to a six-speed manual transmission or Getrag's 10-speed automatic transmission. The 2020 Mustang is also equipped with four tailpipes giving it a highly sporty, race-bred look. The odometer has now been set at 250 km/h, an increase of 55 km/h over the conventional Mustang EcoBoost.
The Mustang 2.3 high performance is fast, powerful and distinguished. It will also provide you with stability on the roads of Quebec, Canada and the United States thanks to its 19-inch machined aluminum wheels and 255/40R tires specific to this vehicle. What's more, Ford has improved its calibrations for electronically controlled power steering, anti-lock braking, stability control and its five driver-selectable driving modes.
